Ambassador Bernard Savage is the Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to Sri Lanka, and a Distinguished Fellow of New Westminster College. He earned a B.A. with Honours in Economics in 1980 from the University of Strathclyde and a MBA with Distinction in Business Administration in 2000 from Heriot-Watt University. Ambassador Savage has language proficiency in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian.

Ambassador Savage has a distinguished record of ethical leadership and his professional experience includes:
