Professor Dr. Ahmed Saeed Badrais is a Distinguished Fellow of New Westminster College and has served as Vice Chairman on the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors since February 2013. Dr. Badrais earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1995 from King Abdul-Aziz University in Saudi Arabia, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 1999 from Georgia State University in the United States of America, and a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration in 2009 from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Egypt. Dr. Badrais has language proficiency in English (excellent), Arabic (excellent), French (good), and Brunei (good).
Professor Badrais has a distinguished record of ethical leadership and has served as a Development Consultant to the United Nations in Switzerland since 2011. From 2007 to 2011, he served as CEO of the National International Co. Ltd. in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and managed over $6.5 billion worth of real estate projects. Dr. Badrais served as Regional Manager of the AIT Group in Dubai, UAE from 2005 to 2007 and as Executive Director of the Rostiny Group in Darussalam, Brunei from 1998 to 2005 and managed a $1.5 billion real estate development project in Australia and a $500 million joint Saudi/Brunei real estate development project.
Professor Badrais is a Professor of Ethical Leadership of New Westminster College and a member of the International Advisory Board of the Centre for Studies on Intelligence, Strategic Science and Security in Rome, Italy.
