The Board of Governors
New Westminster College was founded on August 18, 2011 in accordance with the laws of Canada and British Columbia, including the Business Corporations Act of British Columbia, and licensing laws of the City of New Westminster. New Westminster College is a private academic institution specializing in executive education, English as a second language, and professional training programmes tailored to the needs of professional executives, entrepreneurs, students and adult learners.
New Westminster College is governed by the Board of Governors consisting of no more than fifteen Governors, all of whom serve at the pleasure and unanimous consent of every member of the Board of Governors. Each member of the Board of Governors has a distinguished record of ethical leadership and significant professional achievement. Most Governors hold graduate and doctoral degrees and professorial appointments. The Executive Committee of the Board of Governors consists of three Governors who serve as the Chairman and two Vice Chairs.
