BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Brigadier General Hans Mulder, LLB, LLM

Brigadier General Hans Mulder is a retired senior officer of the Royal Netherlands Army and a Senior Fellow of New Westminster College. He is earned a LLB in International Law in 2012 from the University of Tilburg and currently studying for his LLM in International Law at the University of Tilburg.  He has language proficiency in Dutch, English, German and French. He is a 1975 graduate of the Royal Military Academy and has completed the Joint Warfare Course with the Royal Marines in Poole, Great Britain. His Professional Military Education (PME) includes:

  • 1998: Senior Management Course, Ministry of Defence
  • 1983 – 1985: General Staff Course (Hogere Krijgsschool)
  • Crisis Management Course, NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany
  • 1971-1975: Royal Military Academy (Koninklijke Militaire Academie)

Brigadier General Hans Mulder has a distinguished record of ethical leadership and retired in 2010 from the Royal Netherlands Army after 39 years of distinguished service. His professional leadership experience includes:
