BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Dr. Mohamed Arif, M.B.B.S., M.Phil., M.B.A.

Dr. Arif is a medical doctor, Senior Fellow and Special Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Governors of New Westminster College. He earned a MBBS in Medicine from the Sri Deveraj Urs Medical College, Bangalore University (1992 – 1998), a MPhil in Hospital and Health System Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (2010 – 2012), a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics from the National Law School of India University (2011 – 2012), and a dual MBA in International Hospital and Healthcare Management from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany in collaboration with the HEC Montréal in Canada (2011 – 2013).

Dr. Arif has a distinguished record of ethical leadership and is the Head of Operations at Nova Medical Centers Middle East in the Sultanate of Oman. He is Basic Life Support certified by the American Heart Association, Diabetology certified by the Dr. V.Seshaiah Research Institute, Advanced ECG certified by the Oman Heart Association, certified in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD -10) by the World Health Organization in Saudi Arabia, and has completed a Professional Psychologist Fellowship with the Association of Professional Psychology.

As a Senior Fellow and Special Advisor to the Chairman of New Westminster College, Dr. Mohamed Arif is dedicated to supporting the highest standards of academic excellence and is committed to the advancement of New Westminster College and its Global Network of Fellows.
