BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Dr. Monica Moz, M.D.

Dr. Monica Moz is a cardiovascular surgeon, medical doctor, and a Senior Fellow of New Westminster College. She earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 2005 from the University of Padova Medical School in Italy. She also completed her Cardiovascular Surgery Residency (Summa cum Laude) from 2006 to 2011 at the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Science at the University of Padova Medical School. Dr. Moz has been a surgical member since 2009 of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation Project at the Padova Cardiac Surgery Unit in collaboration with the Cardiology Unit and Edwards Italy. She has language proficiency in Italian, English and German.

Dr. Moz has an outstanding record of ethical leadership and presently serves as Cardiovascular Surgeon at the Leipzig Heart Center of the University of Leipzig in Leipzig, Germany.
