EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Dr. Muhammad Ehtesham Siddiqui, MBBS, FCPS

Dr. Siddiqui is a medical doctor, orthopedic surgeon and Senior Fellow of New Westminster College. He studied medicine (1995-2000) at the  Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and earned a MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in Medicine. Dr. Siddiqui qualified for the FCPS, Part 1 (Surgery and Allied) in 2003 with from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan, and in 2004 and 2005, he qualified for the the Intercollegiate MRCS, Part 1 and Part 2, from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. In 2007, Dr. Siddiqui qualified for the Intercollegiate MRCS, Part 3 (Orals) from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and in 2008, he qualified for the IMRCS, Part 3 (Comm. Skills) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. in 2008, Dr. Siddiqui qualified for the Intermediate Module Exam for FCPS in Orthopedics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, and in 2011, he qualified for the FCPS Orthopedics, Part 2 (Final) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. He has language proficiency in English, Urdu and basic Arabic.

Dr. Siddiqui has an outstanding record of ethical leadership and presently serves as the Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at the Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences and Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. He concurrently serves as the Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at the A.O. Clinic in Karachi and treats Congenital Taliped EquinoVarus (clubfoot deformity) in children utilizing the Ponseti technique. Dr. Siddiqui previously served as Resident (2008-2011) and completed a three year Residency Programme for FCPS in the Department of Orthopedics at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in Karachi, Pakistan, where he also completed a residency in 2005-2007 in the Department of General Surgery.

Dr. Siddiqui is a member in good standing of the Pakistan Medical Association, and Lifetime Member of the Pakistan Arts Council in Karachi, which is the major platform for holding social and cultural events in Pakistan for Poetry, Music, Drama, Art and Sculpture.
