Executive Education


The New Westminster School of Leadership is an innovative institution that provides executive education programmes utilizing world-class curriculum and learning platforms that allow executives, busy professionals and students to learn and upgrade their leadership, management and business acumen and currency in the global marketplace. Students at our Leadership School will encounter both rigorous cutting-edge curricula and professors well experienced in their respective profession.
Many learning modules are available to our students that can be taken in the classroom or in our cyber classroom at the convenience of our learner’s schedules. Three formal executive education programmes are offered, including: the Distinguished Leadership Programme, the Senior Executive Programme and the Advanced Management Programme.
Our leadership and management programs have been previously taught by active and former corporate presidents, CEOs, Generals and Admirals that all provide invaluable insights to effective and ethical leadership.
New Westminster College offers its executive education programmes through the New Westminster School of Leadership. The distinctive world-class curricula of our executive education programmes provide unique opportunities for corporate leaders and executives from all professional disciplines to advance their technical knowledge and upgrade their leadership skills, business acumen and currency in the global marketplace. The coursework of each executive education programme is supplemented with Harvard Case Studies, readings from Harvard Business review and other learning materials provided and licensed by Harvard Business Publishing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harvard University.

The Distinguished Leadership Programme is an advanced postgraduate course of study designed for senior-level professional leaders. The innovative and interactive programme with its distinctive world-class curricula provides a very unique opportunity for corporate leaders and senior executives from all professional disciplines to advance their technical knowledge and upgrade their leadership skills, business acumen and currency in the global marketplace. The coursework delivered in the Distinguished Leadership Programme is supplemented with Harvard Case Studies, readings from Harvard Business review and other learning materials that will challenge and reward seasoned professional leaders with a distinguished record of ethical leadership. The requirements for admission to the Distinguished Leadership Programme include a digital application, photograph, screening interview with the Executive Programmes Admissions Committee, interview with two active Governors of the Board of Governors, a relevant four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited university with an excellent grade point average, three professional references, and at least 15 years of senior leadership experience. On occassion, waivers of admission requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis and granted to executive leadership applicants with an exceptional leadership background. All waivers require unanimous consent by the Board of Governors.

Graduates of the Distinguished Leadership Programme are awarded the Master Diploma in Executive Leadership, the Distinguished Leadership Laureate designation, Life Membership in the New Westminster College Alumni Association, and the Distinguished Leadership Laureate Cross for business and formal wear.

The Senior Executive Programme is an advanced postgraduate course of study designed for mid-level executives and professional leaders. Graduates of the Senior Executive Programme are awarded the Executive Certificate in Senior Leadership, Membership in the New Westminster College Alumni Association, and the Senior Executive Medallion for business and formal wear. Upon petition and approval by the Executive Programmes Admissions Committee, courses completed in the Senior Executive Programme are transferable for credit to the Distinguished Leadership Programme.

The Advanced Management Programme is an advanced course of study designed for executives early into their professional career. The innovative and interactive programme with its distinctive world-class curricula provides a very unique opportunity for executives from all professional disciplines to advance their technical knowledge and upgrade their leadership skills, business acumen and currency in the global marketplace. The coursework delivered in the Advanced Management Programme is supplemented with Harvard Case Studies, readings from Harvard Business review and other learning materials that will challenge and reward seasoned professional leaders with a distinguished record of ethical leadership. The Advanced Management Programme consists of five executive leadership courses and 16 sequential learning modules, which are outlined below:
