Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan is a Distinguished Fellow of New Westminster College. He served as a career diplomat of Pakistan, including as the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates from November’ 2010 to June’ 2013.

Ambassador Khan has diverse background and wide ranging experience in international affairs, diplomacy and public policy management. He has rich expertise in working with foreign governments, international organizations, parliamentary associations, academic institutions, business groups and non-governmental organizations. He has strong advocacy and networking skills. Ambassador Kamal’s distinguished record of ethical leadership and diplomacy and his professional experience includes:

• October 2013 to present: President, Global Outreach for Logic and Development

• November 2010 – June 2013: Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates

• April 2009 – November 2010: Ambassador of Pakistan to Libya with accreditation to Malta, Burkina Faso and Togo

• January 2007 – April 2008: Chief Security Advisor for Somalia (Headquartered at Nairobi)
