BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Mr. Lou Cafazzo, BA, MCM, FNWC

Mr. Lou Caffazo is a Fellow of New Westminster College and has an outstanding record of ethical leadership. He is a former Canadian Football League professional football player and became a Grey Cup Champion as offensive guard for the Calgary Stampeders. He also played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

Mr. Caffazo’s professional experience includes:

  • 2010 to present: Assistant Registrar, Office of the Registrar, McMaster University
  • 2009 to 2010: Liaison Officer and Student Recruitment, Office of the Registrar, McMaster University
  • 2008 to 2009: External Relations and Recruitment Administrator, McMaster University
  • 2006 to 2008: Associate Director, Alumni Advancement, University Advancement, McMaster University
  • 2000 to 2006: External Relations and Recruitment Administrator, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario
  • 1997 to 2007: Assistant Coach (defensive line and special teams) with four consecutive Yates Cup victories, McMaster Marauders, McMaster University
  • 1997 to 2000: External Relations Coordinator, McMaster Marauders Football Team, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario
  • 1989 to 1996: Professional Football Player (1st selection of the Calgary Stampeders in CFL Draft), and Starting Offensive Guard for the Grey Cup Champions Calgary Stampeders. Also played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats

Mr. Caffazo’s education includes:
