BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Tawfiq Nabeel Tawfiq Abdul-Aal, BSc, MBA, MFC

Fellow Tawfiq Abdul-Aal is a Fellow of New Westminster College. He earned a BCom in Accounting from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University in 1996, a Diploma in Modern Accounting from the American University in Cairo in 1996, and an MBA in Finance from the Manchester Business School in 2012. He is a Member of Institute of Management Accountants and the American Academy of Financial Management, where he was certified as a Master Financial Controller (MFC).

Fellow Tawfiq Abdul-Aal has an outstanding record of ethical leadership and is a specialist in finance and accounting. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer since April 2012 of the Al-Ritaj Investment Company in Kuwait City, Kuwait, which is one of the largest investment leaders in the pharmaceutical industries in Kuwait, Egypt and Oman. His other professional leadership experience includes:

  • Apr. 2004-Sep. 2008: Senior Financial Controller, the Holding Group, Investment Dar Company K.S.C., Kuwait

  • Dec. 1997 – Jan. 2001: Senior External Auditor, Arthur Andersen Al-Bazei & Partners Public Accountant, Kuwait
  • May 1997 – Nov. 1997: Managerial Accountant, Americana Group Company E. S. C., Egypt
  • Sep.  1996 – May 1997 : Auditor, Grant Thornton Abdul Azeiz Hegazi & Partners Public Accountants
