BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Professor Dr. Clark Friedrich Schierle, BS, MD, PhD

Professor Dr. Clark Friedrich Schierle is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and Distinguished Fellow of New Westminster College. He was accepted at age twelve as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics in 1991. From 1991 to 1992, he completed a research fellowship also at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1992, at age sixteen, he was accepted into a combined MD-PhD program at Harvard. He received a Doctor of Medicine from the Harvard Medical School in 2003 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from Harvard University, also in 2003.
