BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Dr. Gordica Karanfilovska, B.Eng., M.A., Ph.D.

Dr. Gordica Karanfilovska is a specialist in Political Marketing and a Senior Fellow of New Westminster College. She earned a B.Eng. at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in 1992 and an MA in Economic Sciences in Marketing from the Faculty of Economics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in 2003. In June 2008, Dr. Karanfilovska earned a Diploma in Theology with Credit from the International Bible Training Institute, Burgess Hill, England, UK, and in 2013 she earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” at the Department of Political Science of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.

Dr. Karanfilovska has an exceptional record of ethical leadership and currently serves as Advisor to the President at the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia. Her previous professional experience includes:

  • 2009-present: Special Project Director, President’s School For Young Leaders, Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia
  • 2009-2011: Teaching Assistant at the Master program of Political Management at the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University.
  • 2008–2009: Coordinator for the European Credit Transfer System (volunteer work) at The International Bible Training Institute (IBTI), Centre approved by NCFE in Applied Theology
  • 2005-2006: Teaching Assistant and MBA Coordinator, Faculty of Business Administration, University of New York, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia
  • 2003-2005: Head of Marketing Division, Replek and Hubo Ltd., Skopje, Republic of Macedonia
  • 1993-2003: Sales in the Marketing Department, NIP Nova Makedonija, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia
